KENTA FUKASAKU, the young Japanese film director who produced the cult classic 'Battle Royale' - introduced one of the earliest anti-war films ever made in JAPAN - the famous 'UNDER THE FLAG OF THE RISING SUN' which was directed and written by his father: KINJI FUKASAKU in 1972. His mother, SANAE NAKAHARA plays a mesmerizing cameo in the film, that of the blind man's wife.
