~DAN ASHER, R.I.P.
BEN FURGAL wrote to tell me – our friend DAN ASHER – passed on to another realm – early early am – this past Saturday, April 24, 2010. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on DEC 31st, 1947 – that would make him 62. He seems to have posted quite a few videos, esp his music videos – to YouTube – his web tag: alienrib777.
yeah, Dan died on Earth Day. just by the skin of his teeth.

it’s a music video for: Phosphorescent – ‘Pictures of Our Torn Up Praise’ – recorded live @ BELL HOUSE, Gowanus, BROOKLYN, Feb 2009 – and posted to YouTube – May 11, 1009.
the footage was shot mostly in Brooklyn, in places like Coney Island, Red Hook, and Gowanus, but there is also a GIRAFFE sequence (that seems to come by way of Gavin Turk) that hails from – Antwerp, Belgium.
