that’s still plenty amazing.
many of his contemporaries don’t even get $10,000 a pop, maybe highest . . $20,000. in special cases $30,000 / $40,000.
let alone have a secondary, & we are talking, vibrant secondary market.
and it was probably a very nice windfall for the seller, who most likely didn’t pay anywhere near, or maybe . . just $100,000 for it / at the most 6 years ago.
