The images reflect the artist’s interest in not who is in front of the camera, but rather what one could imagine there. Taken from the past five years of image-making, this show attempts to distill an underlying current of the artist’s process. on the right, JORDAN SEILER – the curator of this show – is also a very talented artist – who easily fuses street art cred and high, capital A – art – with his conceptual and highly stylized work. His one man show, ‘REMOVAL SATISFIES THE CONDITION’, presented at the CANAL CHAPTER by 1134 NYC aka mint and serf – aka collaboratively as mirf – way back in the SPRING of 2006 – is still one of my very fave shows !! ever !!
