but I swear, I do detect an heart-felt echo (!!) of all-American, magazine glossy illustrator – NORMAN ROCKWELL, in that card . . . image or what !!
and I don’t mean, just cause it’s 2 guys !!
something . . . about the matter-of-fact, yet warm hyper realism, and classic composition ?
it really hit home, when I posted the CHRIS WATTS – magazine referenced painting – above post !!
which although it uses actual ‘original’ source magazine illustrations – has a more ‘street art’ feel.
whatever . . . yeah it was a big NIGHT OUT !!
