HELMUT LANG exhibits what looks to be a giant mirrored DISCO BALL – that has been punched out !! – with paint wounds. Detractors, and fans of the installation were to be found at the opening. we’ll leave it to someone else to write the commentary.

. . . supposedly this is the ORIGINAL !!!! DISCO BALL from STUDIO 54.
STUDIO 54 opened in APRIL of 1977 – which would make this exhibit – the 30th ANNIVERSARY MARK.
