black and white and shiny all over – they are APEX predators, killing machines born to roam, and rule (!!) huge wide open sea territories. fierce as hell – and we lock ’em up in bathtub displays.
that’s who we are.

SEAWORLD says it was a “collision with a tank wall” . . . but you can clearly see it was a bite. a big one, they found the missing ‘chunk’ – on the floor of the tank. yes, they did. you can easily see the teeth puncture wounds, arranged in tell-tale orca mouth pattern. just look at the orca who was hurt.
this was an: orca on orca attack.

turns out the SEPT 17, 2012 – NYT ARTICLE by SINDYAN BHANOO was quite, as they say, PRESCIENT !!
if you read between the lines – it’s quite interesting, too.
first off, orcas can live into their 90s, just like us, and no wonder they go crazy in captivity. this is not your average six month ‘insect’ life span.
second, bottomline: they need their mamas !! yo, mama !!
to protect, nourish, ‘coddle’ and comfort them – their WHOLE LIFE SPANS !! and instead they are placed into ‘bathtub’ scaled captivity – with other competitive alpha apex males.
no wonder things are going south over there in SEAWORLD. esp as these trained, caged … ‘pets’ age.
no wonder PETA – is having a fit. right on.
the Times Science article goes on to say:
“Humans, pilot whales and killer whales (orcas) are the ONLY known species in which females have a prolonged period of menopause – a time of life when they can not reproduce.”
(doesn’t mean, they don’t want sex, just saying . . . )
“Now, a study in the journal Science reports the purpose that menopause serves in orcas: for females to care for their sons and make sure their genes are passed on to future generations.”
“Females have a really unique life history . . . they stop reproducing in their 30s and 40s, but they can live into their 90s.”
” . . . for males over 30, the death of a mother meant an eightfold increase in the likelihood of death within a year.”
“Killer whales stick with their mothers their entire lives”.
DR. EMMA FOSTER, a marine biologist at at EXETER UNIVERSITY in ENGLAND, omg, another – BRIT !! – “suspects that mothers help sons with foraging or offer protection in encounters with other males.”
what the F, do the killer whales, in captivity . . read the NEW YORK TIMES ?
funny that they should ‘act out’ – on the heels of that article, or what.
think about it. information is just – not as liner as we think.
species interaction is not as straight forward as we think. and I bet neither . . . is the planetary stuff.

THE ROLE of the FEMALE. . . the changing world. captivity. instant headlines. instant trends. video footage at your fingertip. killer whales. killer minds.
and so, the wide open web – begins to weave.
and that’s how PSEUDO – ROLLS.
. . . it eats the ground beneath ya.
PSEUDO, under Josh – was like a TIGER. it rolled over everything, and ate up many countless people along the way, in its relentless path – to define the future.
TIGER: the GERMAN TANK & KILLING MACHINE of WWII. it mowed over everything in its path, it’s one flaw: speed and flexibility.
PSEUDO was like the inverse – it had speed and flexibility. iyt was intangible. it was information. it was prophecy.
it was the web – before the web was even a day-to-day instant connection . . . for the masses. around the globe.
WATCH YOUR BACK, NEW YORK CITY.
Pseudo was a tech bubble in the making, but Pseudo also put out many deep roots, just like any ‘program’. any code.
the art world c got caught up in Pseudo for sure, just as much the tech world.
everyone at Pseudo knew content, graphics, visuals, photographs, trends, culture . . . were gonna rule the wireless waves.
esp thinking outside the box.
