the image used for the card is based on a small drawing by ANDREW GUENTHER – ‘riding on the moon juice’, 2002, colored pencil on paper, 12 x 9 ins.
we were disappointed that the drawing itself is not included in the show – although it was put on the card because it “expresses the theme of the show ” – S.C.
the card was featured on the artlovers homepage of FEB 28 – MARCH 6, 2007, and although it is a male only show, the other artists featured on that homepage as of interest, interestingly enough turned out to be women only !

which led to an artlovers EPIPHANY:
.. . which began with the thought: “It’s a man’s world … but it wouldn’t be anything .. without a woman or a girl” – the recently departed, the now, late & great JAMES BROWN !!!
and then, looking back at Andrew’s drawing . . we wondered if it wasn’t a very freudian take, if not an actually deliberate & literal graphic take !! .. on that very sentiment … “riding on the moon’s juice” .. indeed !!!
