horseshoe, wire hangers, Aunt Vicki’s cheesecake, reindeer, tennis balls, mop, button, paper plates,
oil based clay, cattails, water caltrops, gravel, ball, nylon stockings, duct tape, plastic bags, epoxy,
construction adhesive, enamel, phosphorescent acrylic, artificial navel orange, artificial clementines.

ps: I think there is a wise ole man / who lives in this brash young body / prob been circling the earth & it’s heavenly bodies,
for eons.
pss: DANIEL GIORDANO . . . has a big ole studio space upstate in Newburgh, NY / Hudson Valley, close to Beacon.
been in his family generations-old. ole industrial squat red brick building / where they used to manufacture winter coats /
and also a warehouse !!
Daniel . . sources his mostly ‘found’ materials in the area / these ole tree stumps – were cut down by his dad.

“To snip is to exact a procedure of light maintenance – a controlled & mostly benign operation of precision violence.
It’s a visit to the barber shop or the remedy for an unraveling thread. The snip also refers to the stuff of surgery,
of birth and ritual: the episiotomy, the umbilical cord, the foreskin. Trauma & catharsis beget our psycho-spiritual conditions.
We grow we injure we heal. The scars are exit wounds but sometimes the shrapnel can remain.”
