WURTZ) is disrupted by two other shows: the raucous quilt paintings of VIOLETTE ALBY and a 25-year survey of the alternately Minimalist and Expressionist  paintings and drawings of the talented DAN ASHER.<br \/>\nBut  Mr. Asher brings everything to a gentle fade-out with a recent irresistibly musical video titled &#8216;Moonscape&#8217;, in which a succession of blurry photographs of a moonlit ocean finds its ideal accompaniment in LIZ  DURRETT singing &#8216;The Sea a Dream&#8217;.  It is amazing what can be accomplished with a cellphone in motion&#8221;.<br \/>\n&#8211; ROBERTA SMITH <\/p>\n<p>P.S. DAN was so nice to write us a little note correcting Roberta&#8217;s review: he <em>didn&#8217;t<\/em> use a cellphone. let alone one in motion !! &#8211; (she must have ROB PRUITT&#8217;S show &#8211; &#8216;iPhotos&#8217; &#8211; now up at GBE &#8211; stuck on the brain !!).<br \/>\nDan says: &#8230;&#8221;bye the way, the video wasn&#8217;t shot with a cellphone camera, it was shot at the Jersey Shore last summer on TOM JARMUSCH&#8217;S not-so-vintage canon camcorder with a slow shutter speed&#8221; and, goes on in his indomitable way&#8230; &#8220;when next I see the esteemed R.
