Working with music, video, sculpture, textiles, drawings, photography, and painting, these artists met serendipitously in Berlin and have found ways to use the city as a background for collaboration – artistic and recreational – in studios, galleries, bars, and discotheques. A performance by HANAYO – on OCT 1st – at 19:00 – accompanies the show.

the MAD VICKY’S press release goes on to state:
“The condition of international artists in Berlin is more science-fiction than political drama: The works exhibited in the show recall psychedelic, perverse, mysterious, and happy visits to unexplored regions rather than hankerings for national identities or exotic fetishes. Selecting a context for the works of art becomes situational, playful, and participatory, perhaps like their creation.

Through the artists’ uses of various media, the show looks at the moment when distinctions collapse between work and play, personal and collective, the familiar and the foreign.”

CHECK OUT: MAD VICKY’S TEA GALLERY !!

CHECK OUT: the super surreal & a-m-a-z-i-n-g !! photo based website of: HANAYO !! &
watch out !! – it’s got a completely capitivating sound track – you’ll be addicted !!

CHECK OUT: BRENT WADDEN !! – it’s brief – but, super cool.

and, last but NOT LEAST – you have to check out: LARRY’S CANADIAN FINE ARTS !!
a store (home made books & t-Shirts) & more !!

MAD VICK’S TEA GALLERY

. . . if you are in PARIS – you can make the opening, to-nite !! or, at least check out, later in the week – what look’s to be a very fresh !! & very special !! group show up at MAD VICKY’S !!! – aka COCO ROSIE & PALS !!! – always !!
