John was a Production Assistant on &#8216;The Pool&#8217; &#8211; he did post production work. He said that a Bombay orchestra &#8211; an &#8220;old Bollywood orchestra&#8221; &#8211; made up of &#8220;mostly 70 and 80 year-old musicians&#8221; &#8211;  performed the musical score, which he and DIDIER LEPLAE wrote for &#8216;THE POOL&#8217; .  A lot of the sound track has an authentic sound from the Goa region. It has a lot of Portuguese influence as well as regional Panjim elements.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artloversnewyork.com\/zine\/wp-content\/photos\/Chris_Smith___11.jpg\" width=\"450\" height=\"337\" alt=\"pool # 11\" class=\"centered\" \/><br \/>\non the right &#8211; DIDIER LEPLAE &#8211; co-author of the musical score &#8211; &#8216;THE POOL&#8217;.<br \/>\nand yep, that&#8217;s local artist &#8211; well known to many of the downtown crew here &#8211;  JAMES  FRANKLIN &#8211; on the left.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artloversnewyork.com\/zine\/wp-content\/photos\/Chris_Smith___12.jpg\" width=\"450\" height=\"337\" alt=\"pool # 12\" class=\"centered\" \/><br \/>\nCHRIS THOMPSON &#8211; he went to India with &#8216;THE POOL&#8217; crew &#8211; where he was assistant editor &#038; production co-ordinator. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artloversnewyork.com\/zine\/wp-content\/photos\/Chris_Smith___13.jpg\" width=\"450\" height=\"337\" alt=\"pool # 13\" class=\"centered\" \/><br \/>\nat left, CHRIS SMITH !!
