NEW YORK POST\/AUGUST 18, 2011<\/a><\/p>\n<p>either that, and \/ or maybe &#8211; selling DAMIEN HIRST DOT paintings &#8211; is like having your very own currency &#8211; printing press !! <\/p>\n<p>according to CAROL VOGEL, of the NEW YORK TIMES, DAMIEN and GOGO &#8211; will be presenting a gigantic simultaneous global &#8216;wave&#8217; exhibition of some 300 DAMIEN HIRST dot paintings &#8211; around the world &#8211; or better put &#8211; in each of the 11 international Gagosian locations, including the three in our very own NYC. this despite a prior Hirst announcement that: &#8220;. . . his production of dead animals and spot paintings would be drastically reduced&#8221;. &#8220;Not exactly&#8221;, Vogel goes on to relate:  . . . &#8220;reminded of that statement in a recent telephone interview, he chuckled and said: &#8216;I keep trying to end them.
