JEFFREY DEITCH is a wasting no time showcasing his new &#8216;acquisition&#8217; &#8211; former CLEMENTINE artist, TAYLOR McKIMENS !!<br \/>\nthe show <em>just<\/em> came together and is being billed as:<br \/>\n&#8216;TAYLOR McKIMENS &#8211; SOFT SERVE&#8217;<br \/>\nopening FRIDAY, MAY 9, 2008 6-9 PM in the storefront\/gallery\/annex on Grand St.<br \/>\nthe show will run: MAY 9 &#8211; JUNE 14, 2008<br \/>\nDEITCH PROJECTS &#8211; STOREFRONT GALLERY &#8211;  76 GRAND ST &#8211; SOHO<\/p>\n<p>according to the press release the show features a new large portrait, four works on paper and &#8220;sculptural interventions&#8221; &#8230; &#8220;TAYLOR McKIMENS was born in 1976 in Seattle, Washington, and raised in Winterhaven, California, a small desert town on the Mexican border. he currently lives and works in Canada&#8221; &#8211; where is hanging out with the COMMUNITY OUTREACH crew.
