before we forget, good luck to GLENN O’BRIEN – who was recently announced as the new editor of INTERVIEW, replacing INGRID SISCHY. it’s actually the new – former<\/em> – editor, as SIMON CERIGO tells us that MR. O’BRIEN used to edit INTERVIEW back in the day, when it was founded, – in the late 60s, early 70s – when it was the “underground cultural bible”. Simon and Glenn cross paths often on the MARK KOSTABI – ‘NAME THAT PAINTING’ GAME SHOW (shown on public access TV here in NYC).<\/p>\n

Most recently GLENN O’BRIEN has been co-editor (and contributer), along with MAX BLAGG, of the ‘BALD EGO’ – a fairly thick, 6 x 9 in., high production, glossy papered – collection of essays and photos on the art world. <\/p>\n
