According to the museum notes, it was made by EVA G. REX (dates unknown) in the United States in 1944. It is cotton and measures 96 x 81 ins.<br \/>\nGIFT OF CYRIL IRWIN NELSON, 2004.14.5<\/p>\n<p>the museum notes go on to say:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The HOLLY HOCKS design was first published by the Mountain Mist Company in 1934.
