they accompanied my M.F.A. thesis – on: JAPANESE ART & IT’S INFLUENCE ON CONTEMPORARY ART !!

no, they have never been shown, except when they were exhibited for my masters show. as if that did me any good. way back in Montreal. you had to be a color field [painter back then, anyways.
\nbut that’s ok with me – cause I’d rather be right on, as in: ahead of the curve – than dead.
\nand I see – its my ‘words’ you’re reading, for the cutting edge – aren’t ya !! <\/p>\n

\nto have them reproduced, there’s a whole series of them . . . like 10 ft. high, in black paint on plywood, right smack in that RIRKRIT TIRAVANIJA – ‘FEAR EATS THE SOUL’ – communal dining room. oh, yeah.

I guess you could call them – self-portraits – taken through the lens of (Edo Period) Japanese art & back again !!
