sci-fi.<br \/>\nthis the stuff &#8211;  of the future.<br \/>\na glimpse of KATARINA BURIN garden &#8216;furniture&#8217; \/ planters to the right.<br \/>\nthis building is the tallest for miles . . . so even though it&#8217;s only 5 stories high,<br \/>\nit feels like a tower, or a hovering space ship &#8211; . . &#8216;First Light&#8217;, 2023.<br \/>\nCast iron tub placed at the highest point in Bushwick.<br \/>\nMy daughter and I climbed 7 flights of stairs &#038; watched many cold sunrises from 53 Scott Ave while the building was still under construction. Now neither of us will ever be able to see the sunrise without thinking of each other.
