I was<\/strong> the first to write up his debut early shows – at CANADA,
\nincluding my<\/strong> fav, ‘Shmagoo Paintings’, at Canada \/ which ran Oct 25 – Dec 3, 2008,
\nand, which features prominently – in that recent NYT article.<\/p>\n

“The best of these bare minimum works was a series of enormous raw<\/strong> canvases that boasted a single motif outlined in black oil crayon.
\nWhile monumental, they had the intimacy of doodles, and were drawn all at once without adjustments,
