The E. 4th St. location seems to be the main gallery base, while the more recent E. 3rd St. branch  seems to be more of a project, or event \/ meeting space.<\/p>\n<p>I was lucky enough &#8211; to catch Caslon&#8217;s showing \/ at the E. 4th St. closing party \/ celebration,<br \/>\nlast weekend, Sat April 23rd, 2022.<br \/>\n<strong>note:<\/strong> the main co-exhibit on 4th St. &#8211; working in NYC \/ whose work &#8220;aims at<br \/>\nvisualizing the <strong>slippery<\/strong> relationship between physical &#038; non-physical materiality.&#8221;<br \/>\n(gallery)<\/p>\n<p>DANA NOTINE: (b. 1993), the curator of the show, and Ki Smith gallery admin associate \/ is an independent curator based in Brooklyn. &#8220;Her scholarship focuses on art&#8217;s relationship to the internet.&#8221;<br \/>\n(gallery)<br \/>\nwhich makes <strong>sense<\/strong> to me &#8211; on a greater personal level  . . .<br \/>\nDana and I having just recently connected, through her Master&#8217;s Thesis (MFA HUNTER, NYC) &#038; ongoing interest . . in &#038; regarding the JOSH HARRIS \/ &#8216;WE LIVE IN PUBLIC&#8217;, bio-documentary, 2009 \/  directed by ONDIE TIMONER.<br \/>\nthe very wild, underground \/ art-driven . . . and, yet intensely prophetic film, won the Sundance 2009, Grand Jury Documentary award. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artloversnewyork.com\/zine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Ki-Smith-Gallery-on-3rd-St.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artloversnewyork.com\/zine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Ki-Smith-Gallery-on-3rd-St.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"513\" height=\"684\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-45144\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.artloversnewyork.com\/zine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Ki-Smith-Gallery-on-3rd-St.jpg 513w, https:\/\/www.artloversnewyork.com\/zine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Ki-Smith-Gallery-on-3rd-St-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 513px) 100vw, 513px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nin fact, my first impression of this 3rd  St., storefront . .  &#8216;art viewing \/ social space&#8217; was that it reminded me of &#8216;Quiet&#8217; \/  the multi-million dollar week-long New Years Eve 2000 art party, which Josh threw  to welcome in the new millennial century  &#8211; and, which was to be the &#8216;mother&#8217; of the &#8216;WE LIVE IN PUBLIC&#8217; film \/ where art &#038; social hosting (!!) meet on the floors of 2 empty warehouse buildings in downtown Tribeca \/ more than 20 years ago (!!) to great effect, and, where &#8211;
