\n‘UNDER THE VOLCANO’ . .<\/strong> a digital re-creation of an actual indie pop-up of the same name, featuring the 1980s\/90s work of SIMON CERIGO (RIP), DAN ASHER (RIP) & myself . . NANCY SMITH, who were all working on the Lower East Side, in its glory days.<\/p>\n

Curated by Kate & Theo Cerigo<\/strong>, (Simon & Nancy’s children) the survey exhibit took place in the summer of 2015, running for one huge smash weekend in June, in a large, well-lit storefront in Chinatown, right off Delancey . . on the Bowery. As such it is the first digital re-creation of an actual, archival exhibit on the VDC \/ Virtual Dream Center platform.
