BLAIR SULLIVAN &#8211; IN VERMONT, THE BEAUTIFUL GREEN MOUNTAIN STATE.<\/p>\n<p>&#038; if bye any chance . .  you knew, or heard of Goddard College \/ located in Plainfield, Vermont. .<br \/>\nback in the 70s, then you know I went there, and never really &#8211; came back.<br \/>\nit was the first open curriculum classroom college, ever . . .<br \/>\nI was in the pottery studio hand-building 24\/7.<br \/>\nThe Who &#8211; &#8216;Magic Bus&#8217; was the song we lived by.<br \/>\nthere was a lot of folk art study, primal woodblock printing, new age weaving and radical architecture DIY &#038; salvage among others \/ lots of wood, windows, and not too many square corners.<br \/>\nBaba Ram Dass caravans to San Francisco &#8211; left from the school&#8217;s sunny meadows, which were wild-flowered and wild, as we all were &#8211; on their journey west \/ and it was of course, the original home to the now famous, Bread &#038; Puppet Theater.<br \/>\nI was the one &#038; only exchange student from Montreal (!!) (global), &#038; therefore attended tuition-free (!!) (benevolent). the irony, maybe not \/ being it was the most expensive school in the U.S. at the time.<br \/>\nit was so, so . .  the best &#038; strangest year of my life. it was hard to leave.<br \/>\nQuebec was very conflicted, and language rights fascist at the time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8216;STREAM 5: GIVE and TAKE&#8217; . . .  with:<br \/>\nXinhao Cheng, Wallis Couverte, Juneau Projects, Gwen Smith, Haim Steinbach, R. Blair Sullivan, Tomoe Tsutsmi, &#038; Mans Wrange.<br \/>\nTwo Chairs, AUG 10-11, 2019 \/ 12-5 PM<br \/>\nSouth Windham, Vermont 05359<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nTWO CHAIRS . .<\/strong> is a &#8220;curatorial enterprise made up of artists, curators, and thinkers. This year Two Chairs is expanding its program during August by combining its annual group exhibition in and around a stream in South Windham, Vermont entitled &#8216;Stream Chapter 5: Give &#038; Take&#8217; . . with an artist residency in collaboration with <strong>Meadows Bee Farm<\/strong> that will take place concurrently. <strong>We propose<\/strong>  . . to create an event that reaches out to an even larger audience &#8211; local, national and international. For several years, we have curated group exhibitions that have primarily investigated the effects of human activity on the  natural environment.
