\nJEFFREY TRANCHELL . . ‘Burn Hat’ \/ YES !!!! YES !!!! & MORE YES !!!!
\nthis baby – was made to burn !!!
\nhand-made specifically for the show, it’s a DIY wicker-style ‘hat’.<\/p>\n

ps: the ‘D’ is for Dylan, as in fellow Detroit-based artist DYLAN SPAYSKY – who has been teaching Jeffrey how to weave wicker baskets recently \/ got to love it !!<\/p>\n

\nalthough at first glance, or from a digital photo, anyway !!
\nthe hat appears to be made from DIY multi-colored craft wicker (!!), it’s actually made from differently colored ‘bomb fuse’ wire . . . all the better – to BURN, BABY BURN !!!<\/p>\n

\nthis is one of Jeffrey’s more conservative, early attempts !!
\nin fact his first attempt. pretty darn good.
\nwho doesn’t love a primitive – primitive ?<\/p>\n

Jeffrey writes that Dylan Spaysky makes a lot of wicker-based work, and that “he taught me down by the boat slip that is our local swimming hole.”
\nin Detroit ? they have swimming holes ?
