\nThe show encapsulates the absurdity, newness, and excitement of speed dating<\/em> in relation to digital experiences of sharing and curating artworks through the format of the open call. As in a speed (or online date), the works (and the audience) will meet at the same time and place for the first time during the exhibition, creating a live-action sense of aesthetic <\/em> chemistry. ‘Speed Dating’ addresses these themes with a sense of humor, while underscoring the extent to which digital processes have come to affect our materialrealities in art, as in life.”
