this was a really strongly curated combo show – a really interesting dynamic of tough, hard-core painting, that was also sensuous & poetic \/ and . . very mysterious. great dialog of ‘will-fullness’ . . between the two painters.
\nand . . very very: painterly.
\nalmost like . . clay.<\/p>\n
