\nthis is me & Kate . . with our JACK GOLDSTEIN ‘LIGHTNING’ PAINTING. it turned out to be the biggest one that he, Jack produced. we bought it in 1986, maybe 1985. somewhere in that time frame, for about $10,000 directly from Metro Pictures.
\nWe sold it for something like $60,000 . . just a few short years later. we needed money to feed the kids.
\nSimon sold it way too soon, like pretty much everything else, but that was the . . downside of Simon’s brilliance, and let’s just leave it – at that. <\/p>\n
