{"id":28181,"date":"2016-02-17T11:15:12","date_gmt":"2016-02-17T16:15:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.artloversnewyork.com\/zine\/?p=28181"},"modified":"2016-02-17T13:55:33","modified_gmt":"2016-02-17T18:55:33","slug":"year-of-the-monkey-trending-small","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.artloversnewyork.com\/zine\/the-bomb\/2016\/02\/17\/year-of-the-monkey-trending-small\/","title":{"rendered":"~YEAR of the MONKEY: trending . . small"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>it&#8217;s interesting to see &#8216;scale&#8217; or &#8216;size&#8217; . . . which is trending small in the art world, i.e. sticker art, i.e. Instagram &#038; social media in general . . . also manifesting in the quote unquote: &#8216;real&#8217; world &#8211; across many levels.<br \/>\nhere&#8217;s 3 BIG ones:<br \/>\nthe state of global health, global currency &#038; . . global FASHION. <\/p>\n<p>1. in the FILE UNDER: tell me I wasn&#8217;t right, category . . . and the <strong>huge<\/strong> threat of the ultra &#8216;tiny&#8217;- to OUR . . .  human tiniest.<br \/>\nand, also FILE UNDER: it doesn&#8217;t take a rocket scientist that maybe it&#8217;s NOT a good idea to add pesticide to human drinking water. <\/p>\n<p>apparently some common sense science, as opposed to the rigid old world science of the &#8216;unseen and therefore does not exist kind&#8217; . . by some Argentinian scientists, Red Universitaria de Ambiente y Salud &#8211; are linking the surge of <strong>micro<\/strong>-cephaly with the wide spread use of a mosquito <strong>larvicide<\/strong>, Pyriproxyfen which has been widely <strong>added<\/strong> to Brazil&#8217;s drinking water (!!) in an effort to destroy mosquito eggs (a tiny unit of life &#8211; if there ever was one) &#038; larvae (ditto). <\/p>\n<p>Manufactured by SUMITOMO Chemical . . which is linked in turned to MONSANTO &#8211; which in turn is moving further &#038; further away from the association &#8211; as more articles on this are published  . . SHOES !!!!!!!!<br \/>\nyou know &#8211; those <strong>tiny<\/strong> things you wear on your smallest appendage.<br \/>\nof course, nowhere is the (relatively) tiny impish monkey . . wreaking more havoc &#8211; than in the world of fashion.
