“JULIA ZANGRILLI . . . began as a self-taught perfumer, instinctually mixing custom scents for friends in her home lab. in 2011 she attended the Grasse Institute of Perfumery, in France, where she developed an understanding for the oil dynamics & chemistry behind fragrance composition. Julia then began to develop custom fragrances that she could tailor to an individual’s taste & body chemistry using only high quality phthalate-free materials. This marked the beginning of her company NOVA.
\nShe has since released a retail fragrance named CHAKRA, and done collaborations with OPENING CEREMONY, ANNA SHEFFIELD & LOUP CHARMANT. She will be releasing a series of musks<\/em> with URBAN OUTFITTERS shortly.” ~ gallery press release <\/p>\n

\nKATE, a Capricorn, a more grounded version of a hoof-footed Zodiak beast . . and not one to follow impulse alone !! was very very attracted to the NOVA CAPRICORN fragrance, and hopes to go back and score a customized version. <\/p>\n

\nwhile I, being an alpha Aires !! and a hoof-footed animal too, bye the way, but definite not ‘grounded’, more like forging new paths on the teetery-top of the mountain heights !! was totally . . set on fire, as I approached the NOVA Aires offering – at the beginning of the counter.
\nliterally, my body chemistry went up at least 10 fiery degrees !! <\/p>\n

\nat the NOVA counter, perfume + tactile sensuality . . were on display, in a most visual & exquisite way.
\nvery striking.<\/p>\n

\na vial costs about $125. something like that. and in fact, when you purchase it from Julia in person at Fort Gansevoort, she will even custom tweak it to your own chemistry, and I guess, inner Zodiac being !!
\nabsolutely chic. absolutely tres, in fact pretty completely reasonable . . . for a custom high quality blend that works so well, and delivers such – magic !!<\/p>\n

\nI also really<\/strong> liked how, in the midst of such a highly, as in . . well-designed, albeit craft\/artisanal\/fashion presentation, the labels were . . . in a ‘hand-lettered’ font style.
\nand, seemingly with a sharpie, at that.
\nthey might even have been . . hand-lettered. <\/p>\n

\ngorgeous, magical . . or what ?!! and hand-letterd, !! how brave new world !!
\nand I mean that most sincerely, with designer fonts so easily available via digital world – all things done-by-hand seem to have gotten off to a brand new start, a new life.
\nat one time, hand-lettered signs were such a no no, I cannot not even begin to tell you.
\nso, such Aires . . thought-cloud, or what !!<\/p>\n

LEO !! the Lion apparently gets . . on fire, too.
\nbring out the – claws !!
\nand, get your inner fire on – with NOVA, fer sure.<\/p>\n
