I actually had a striking intersect . . with BRENDAN MONROE’S work, way back in the summer of 2008, when he and gf EVAH FAN . . . presented some solo pieces, and some collaborations, at Hanna Fushihara’s – Little Cakes. it was totally charming, way ahead of the curve – and I had them both pegged for big success.<\/p>\n

the show interestingly enough was titled: ‘Bed and Breakfast’ – and, that was way before airb&b was even a thought form, let alone a phenom. that’s how fast<\/em> – time f-l-i-e-s.<\/p>\n

\nthey had ‘nano’ down, before nano, as in ‘tech’ – was in circulation, either. in fact they had the world down, in a nutshell. like a squiggling worm on a fish hook, if you know what I mean. all the bio-warnings – were there.<\/p>\n

\nher little ‘storybook’ figures have evolved to be more graphic, and ‘tighter’, perhaps more dramatic ? and high contrast . . . but still storybook, and tiny.<\/p>\n
