so, who is . . . HUBERT DOBLER ?!!!<\/p>\n

from his website, it seems he originates from VIENNA, AUSTRIA.
\nor, at least got his higher education there. interestingly he started off as an engineer (1980-85), who then went onto architecture (1989-91), and then did the ultimate cross-over – a MASTERS FINE ART DEGREE, also in Vienna 1992-95.<\/p>\n

NEW YORK CITY starts to show up in his bio by 2003.<\/p>\n

His work now seems to be hardcore ‘bike’-centric . . . with some nice cross-over into the land of conceptual, as well as pictorial.
\nand finally, lands heavy . . . on the side of ‘narrative’ abstract. <\/p>\n
