&#8211; we were able to make the up-state New York &#8211; Catskill Mountains &#8211; opening of MATT BUA&#8217;S &#8211; CATAMOUNT PEOPLE&#8217;S MUSEUM &#8211; SAT SEPT 4, 2010. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artloversnewyork.com\/zine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/catamount-11.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artloversnewyork.com\/zine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/catamount-11.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"catamount-#-1\" width=\"504\" height=\"378\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1681\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.artloversnewyork.com\/zine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/catamount-11.jpg 504w, https:\/\/www.artloversnewyork.com\/zine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/catamount-11-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 504px) 100vw, 504px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nunlike the impression we got from the earliest photos &#8211;  Matt had sent us &#8211; that the big wooden cat was the top of the &#8211; or the actual roof &#8211;  of a small building &#8211; it was a wonderful surprise &#8211; to  see that the handmade bobcat &#8211; comprised the entire museum building &#8211; it was more of a lean-to &#8211; though in fact a totally free-standing sheltering structure . . . and, made with great innovation !!
