\nand instantly fell in love. The next day when I went to OTHER MUSIC to buy their current CD –
\nMEEK WARRIOR<\/em> – one of the store’s owners suggested I try AKRON\/FAMILY’S
\ndebut CD – the self-titled AKRON\/FAMILY<\/em> first, since he felt it was a more focused CD.<\/p>\n
\nboth CDs, I agreed with his assessment – though I liked MEEK WARRIOR<\/em> alot.
\nMEEK WARRIOR<\/em> is a good CD, highlighting this new group’s experimental adventures,
\nand jams.<\/p>\n
\ndelivers a greater emotional punch, on top of some really new sounds. The debut CD is so
\nawesome – as to rank, in my mind, as high as, Who Will Cut Our Hair<\/em>, the first
\nUNICORN CD. But whereas Who Will Cut Our Hair<\/em> was playful in tone,
\nthe AKRON\/FAMILY<\/em> debut CD is serious and sad.<\/p>\n
