caught the CARROLL DUNHAM opening at BARBARA GLADSTONE last night.
\nand, you know what ?
\nthe big, bad<\/strong>, bold, colorful, and downright raunchy paintings – were fab<\/strong> !!<\/p>\n

I heard it was an auspicious full moon last night – ripe for changing opinions and set ways – so, I’m on it !!
\ndoing 360s on every level . . . . <\/p>\n

yep, for sure … caught CARROLL DUNHAM, his daughter LENA .. aka the It Girl !!
\nher mom, photographer LAURIE SIMMONS, and, of course … the ‘little’ sis, GRACE … at the opening !! <\/p>\n

Carroll Dunham was born in 1949 and currently lives and works in New York and Connecticut. He has been the subject of numerous one-person exhibitions, including a mid-career retrospective at the New Museum in New York and an exhibition of paintings and sculptures at Millesgarden in Stockholm. His work has been included in several Whitney Biennnials and in ‘Disparaties and Deformations: Our Grotesque’, SITE Santa Fe’s fifth biennial curated by ROBERT STORR. ~ press release<\/em><\/p>\n
