born out of the drawingbuilding.org<\/a> online archive, ‘Architectural Inventions’ is a compendium of unbuilt structures that only exist on paper. Including the work of architects, designers, and artists from around the world, the book reveals an array of alternatives, expansions, or critiques of our inhabited environments told through drawing.<\/p>\n

highlighting visions that exist outside of established channels of production and conventions of design, ‘Architectural Inventions’ showcases multiplicity in concept and vision, fantasy and innovation. ~ press release<\/em><\/p>\n

MATT BUA and MAXIMILIAN GOLDFARB will introduce the book with some brief remarks, and then, will invite all guests present – to contribute to a public discussion on themes relating to this work.<\/p>\n

additionally the drawingbuilding archive will be presented as an ongoing slide show, and a limited quantity of books will be available for sale.
