GALINSKY, SCARPA &#038; T-BO"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MARC SCARPA THREW A BIRTHDAY PARTY, PSEUDO &#8216;INSIDER&#8217; RE-UNION &#8211; and BOWLING PARTY  . . .   at BROOKLYN BOWL LAST TUES, SEPT 25, 2012. THESE GUYS HAVE BEEN READING ANDREW SMITH&#8217;S NEWLY RELEASED BOOK on JOSH . .  and I wanted to know,  what they thought.<\/p>\n<p>from a diverse web thread they got going &#8211; I got the feeling, that yes. they thought it was drop-dead bonafide. and the few, but passionate down-side remarks it evoked in the peanut gallery &#8211; were more of an interesting take on the &#8216;issues&#8217; . . .  then on the book, itself. in fact, it was intriguing to see the history &#8211; that the book  . . stirred up. &#8216;Imposter Syndrome&#8217;, ha.<\/p>\n<p>they told me the book . . . was a great read. and, totally, true to life. yes, it did  capture the early dotcom days, esp as they evolved around JOSH HARRIS and Pseudo; from the beginning, right on up to now. The shuffle to stay in the spotlight at Pseudo &#8211; was fierce. we all got dropped at one time or another, for various reasons, or new people came on, etc. plus if life didn&#8217;t hit you with a sucker punch, Josh could take up the slack.<\/p>\n<p>the original comeback boy &#8211; &#8216;Underdog88&#8217; &#8211; !! &#8211;  he&#8217;s the guy, who is notorious for attacking JOSH on the stage during a live Q+A session &#8211;  when &#8216;WE LIVE IN PUBLIC&#8217; had it&#8217;s NEW YORK CITY premiere, after winning SUNDANCE DEC 2008   . . .  at MOMA\/MUSEUM of MODERN ART, APRIL 2009.<br \/>\nsee:<a href=\"http:\/\/www.moma.org\/visit\/calendar\/film_screenings\/6355\"> MOMA\/WE LIVE IN PUBLIC<\/a><\/p>\n<p>more on the &#8216;ATTACK&#8217; VIDEO &#038; underdog88 &#8211; posts next.<br \/>\nbut just in case you can&#8217;t wait, see:  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=SxHDl-KfG5s&#038;feature=relmfuhttp:\/\/\">&#8216;Crazed fan of Pseudo .. Attacks JOSH HARRIS&#8217; &#8211; YouTube.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>CENTER: BIRTHDAY BOY &#8211; MARC SCARPA. a frequent and highly respected technical consultant to the early Pseudo, Galinsky says: &#8220;Marc was instrumental in interpreting DENNIS ADAMO&#8217;S ideas. he continues, &#8220;Marc was a revolutionary of live streaming &#8211; he was always pushing the envelope.&#8221;<br \/>\nhe is also a great host in the Pseudo tradition, freely running pitchers of margaritas, followed by a  tray of shots.<br \/>\nhe also seems to have branded himself, as Simplynew &#8211; way before &#8216;simply&#8217; became the big new hot keyword in product branding &#8211; this past summer (2012).<br \/>\nsee: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.simplynew.com\/Simply_New\/Simplynew.html\">Simplynew<\/a><br \/>\nsee: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.simplynew.com\/Simply_New\/REEL-Menu.html\">Simplynew \/ REEL MENU<\/a><\/p>\n<p>RIGHT: T-BO aka TOM LINDER.<br \/>\nPseudo employee # 3.<br \/>\nof T-BO, Galinsky reports: &#8220;T-BO was one of the karmic founders of Pseudo. Every sound that was created or presented at Pseudo went through T-BO. but he was also a key creative &#8220;contributor&#8221; on many levels, not just audio, incl strategy and over-all planning for years 1-3.
