DEDICATED, I GUESS (!!) TO: 9-11-01 ??? – WHETHER DELIBERATE or UNCONSCIOUSLY CONSCIOUS – no diff !!
\nthis being SEPT 14, 2012.
\nthough I guess the image of the NYC subway – is as ‘iconic’ a symbol and metaphor for the Big Apple as you can get – site specific – without invoking the date. but it’s the cardboard box -that did the trick !!
\nas for 9-11: you know I saw it go down from a bird’s eye view – so yeah, it made a lasting impression.<\/p>\n

as for the CARDBOARD BOX: “IF YOU SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING” – it’s getting up, there – along with the Warhol soup can . . . ha. <\/p>\n
