Brooklyn army of 500.<\/p>\n<p>psychedelic, NOT !! political, NOT !! retro, NOT !! street art, NOT !! angst-ridden, NOT !! gender-bending, NOT !! collage party, NOT !!  !! that be way down the river, so over. so last year.<br \/>\nso way down the (downtown) Hole. so old scene. so, been there, done that.<br \/>\nso last decade. so played out. we got it already.<br \/>\nart lovers done took all the pix &#8211; that made the players. no credit. no like-ee.<br \/>\njust saying.<\/p>\n<p>independent and meaningful &#8211; go, BROOKLYN. <\/p>\n<p><strong>P.S. SOME AFTER-THE-PARTY settles down . . . NOTES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>NYC art writer dudes, seriously: it&#8217;s <strong>NOT<\/strong> about the ART MARKET BUBBLE about to burst, it&#8217;s about the new wave crashing in, and taking over. <\/p>\n<p>though I have to admit <strong>&#8220;Bubble, Bubble, Toil and Trouble&#8221;<\/strong> &#8211; is a great line &#8211;  let alone title &#8211;  for an art essay. ha. esp &#8211;  one that has <strong>CHARLIE FINCH<\/strong> creamin&#8217; in his pants !!<\/p>\n<p>and the way OBSERVER scribe, and now, new gallerist &#8211;  ADAM LINDEMANN segues from ultra-blue chip art into hi-end collectible cars &#8211;  is priceless. now, that&#8217;s what I call, &#8220;feather weight&#8221;, HEAVY !! <\/p>\n<p>bubbles. feather weight. get it ? <\/p>\n<p>speaking of which, light weight, (just joking, calm down !! !!)   . . . AFC has a little bit of trouble calling the art, but I have to admit she damn well pretty much calls the scene  &#8216;shots&#8217;, straight-up.   <\/p>\n<p>damn that AFC girl &#8211; even I have to admit &#8211; YOU got the best line &#8211; aka diss &#8211;  of the month, esp the way it just rolled right off your tongue, so casual like: <strong>&#8221; . . . . winner OLIVER ZAHM&#8221;<\/strong>.
