I’m thinking:
Stipan Tadic’s . . watercolor looks so realist !! great details.
it’s both misty & atmospheric, and then you realize it’s not outdoors . . . it’s inside !!
and, then the ‘painting’ takes over – completely.

Richard Wathen’s watercolor . . . !! so streaky !! so pensive.
such a familiar tactile . . gesture.
yet, so . . strange & other-worldly.
almost ‘realist’, but . . quite over-the-edge !!
that is . . not so real in a visual photographic sense / but – totally captures in a very touching & real way / the introspective feeling of a ‘casual’ moment – that, we all can relate to.
