CARA MARIE PIAZZA . . natural and artisanal dyer at the L Bar, Fort Gansevoort.
“committed to sustainable & ethical production, Cara manufactures all of her pieces locally, here in NYC. She creates one-of-a-kind textiles using only natural dyestuffs such as botanicals, plant matter, minerals, non-toxic metals & food waste. She treats her fabrics through alchemical dye sessions, ancient SHIBORI techniques, bundle dyeing & waste dyeing, transforming each textile into its own story.” ~ press release
the detailing on the shirt was phenomenal.
