The NYC art scene was recently graced by the work and presence of our very own, organically sensitive !! and, also initially - a touch cool/prickly, but ultimately sweet - and, right on !! - E-V-A-H !!!
EVAH FAN, hailing from Berkeley, California - showed her work recently, with pal BRENDAN MONROE - at LITTLE CAKES - in what was to be revealed as - Hanna Fushihara Aron’s last show in her current Lower East Side storefront abode.
Called ‘Bed and Breakfast’ - the show ran JUNE 6 - JUNE 29, 2008

EHAH’S figurines have the same rounded out features - just not quite that rounded out !! as the WALL-E ‘B&L’ space tourists - with their atrophied limbs !!
(p.s. . . . if you’ve ever received one of those telephone book sized, whole forest decimating - camera product ‘catalogs’ - in the mail - unsolicted - from NYC’S B&H - you might think .. well, that’s where they got B&L from… how far off a bet - is that, I wonder ?)
